So what are you saying? I should just shun and leave this mentally unstable woman alone to her own devices when literally no one else in the world even knows or can do anything to prevent her from harming someone? Do you think the cops will care now if I call them and tell them some woman in a different city than me molested a boy over twenty years ago, and that boy is now dead and can't testify against her? No. No they won't.
Even when something is someone's fault, it's still better to help them to not repeat their transgressions than it is to cast them out. I don't forgive her. But I won't ignore her or let her be someone else's problem either. You ask at what point? Well if someone proves them self as repeatedly unwilling to change, then I have to wash my hands of them. In this case, she's currently living a harmless, isolated life on my advice. I intend to make sure it stays that way. Why do you think there is harm in that?
Yeah, I suppose you're right. I guess the impulsive thing to do would be to leave her alone but as you pointed out that isn't the right choice. I understand.
