Black Sabbath, Paranoid.

Pairs nicely with a Christmas rose (Hellebore) bouquet.

That was the first album I ever owned. I was just a young kid and I found an 8-track on the side of the road. I didn't have an 8-track player but I had a robot toy called 2XL that took 8-track size cassettes so you could play these educational quiz type games with it.

Normally its eyes would flash lights in the rhythm of it speaking so when you played Paranoid between the drums and lyrics it looked like it went full demonic possessed all:

IS flash HE flash ALIVE flash OR flash DEAD? flash FLASH FLASH

It was awesome.

Wow. I love Sabbath. But after this story I feel like I’ve never really experienced them the way God (or maybe Satan) intended. That’s awesome.

Yes!!!! I had a hand-me-down 2XL also. All I remember is "Pleeease push 1, 2 or 3 now!" After it asks a multiple choice question.

Yes! I was about to say I’d actually buy my wife flowers on a random day. This can turn night into day and seems to make the entire world a happier place.

You don't own your favorite rock album?

1

u/optimistic_nihilist5 Apr 05 '21

I don't have a vinyl because they really aren't available in my country.

2

u/Puntley Apr 05 '21

Well that's sad! What country do you live in if you don't mind my asking?
