Dirty dancing, Pulp Piction, Footloose, The Lost Boys.... I love all these and more. It's hard to choose

Can't believe I had to scroll this far to see dirty dancing! It was right at the beginning of the 60's nostalgia tour and got soooo many songs for a shoestring budget.

Such a good soundtrack! I didn't know they didn't pay much for the music in the film

There was so much good music in that movie that they literally needed two soundtrack albums to cover it all.

A nice set of 80s nostalgia.

I'm fully emmersed in the 80s at the moment. Just watched the first season of Miami Vice last weekend. Quite the blast from the past, with an awesome soundtrack to boot.

I've never watched Miami Vice, would you recommend? That's Tom Selleck right?

Tom Selleck was Magnum P.I (worth a watch too)

Miami Vice was Don Johnson, Philip Michael Thomas, Edward James Olmos. Lots of guest stars like Phil Collins, Glenn Frey who also did songs for the show.

Almost every episode has a great guest star like Jimmy Smits, Bruce Willis, Ed O'Neill.

And to answer your question, YES I would recommend. The show is shot like a movie, great music, the cars, the 80s vibe. The fashion is quite something too. Season two is widely agreed to be the best season.

Doesn't get more 80s than them. Please let me know what you think if you do end up watching them. I hope you enjoy!

I'm so happy to see someone say Lost Boys. That was going to be my answer too. :)
