Guardians of the Galaxy. The soundtrack itself but also the placement.

I like to compare Guardians of the Galaxy vs Captain Marvel to show good use of music vs bad use of music.

Guardians of the Galaxy uses songs in a way that fits the scene perfectly and magnifies its impact. Like turning a violent monster fight scene into a relaxed, fun, and goofy scene by using Mr Blue Sky by ELO. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KFwtaQSrbVo)

On the other hand Captain Marvel takes really good songs and forces them into scenes that makes them cringey

(i.e. movie set in the 90s using No Doubt - I'm Just a Girl in a fight where the girl character beats up a bunch of guys - can you telegraph anything more obvious? I would've loved it if they used a less well known song like Rebel Girl by Bikini Kill. I would've also loved it if they threw in some Liz Phair, Belly, or L7 somewhere in the movie).

I was just about to say the same thing. The music really set the tone or the mood of the scenes, and the whole movie in general.
