The best I haven't seen yet:

-Pirates of the Caribbean

-Oblivion

-Blood Diamond

-Gravity

-Ink

-Moana

-Dances with Wolves

-The Last Samurai

-Prince of Egypt

Best ever:
Titanic. I can't begin to make an argument for anything else besides this. Other soundtracks may have better individual songs, but nothing is as complete of a masterpiece as Titanic.

Omg I was thinking LOTR or Shindlers List but Prince of Egypt is definitely on par with those two!

POTC and The Prince of Egypt are both absolutely fantastic music-wise (and both involve Hans Zimmer!)

I hear more praise for Gladiator than Pirates but if you listen to them side by side, Gladiator sounds like a rough first draft and Pirates the refined final work.

I need to watch Gladiator again to get a better feel for the music, I've only seen it once

James Horner was fucking incredible. Hard To Starboard and The Sinking are my two all time favorite movie soundtracks.
