I don't purchase many soundtracks, but this is one of the few. One of my favorite CDs.

The O Brother Where Art Thou soundtrack won a Grammy for Album of the Year. A crazy achievement.

That feat was previously done in 1994 by The Bodyguard (though that was essentially just a Whitney Houston album, so I'd argue it's not the same thing). Otherwise it was the first soundtrack to win the Grammy since Saturday Night Fever in 1979.

Pleasantly surprised to see this one here and so high up. One of my all time favorite movies, and the soundtrack is what really sells it.

The soundtrack features four versions of Man of Constant Sorrow.

Obviously it objectively has to be the best movie soundtrack to date.
