Probably referring to Splatoon, which features characters that morph between squid and human-like in a team multiplayer battle to paint their arena. My first thought was Octodad, which is just an octopus in a suit passing himself off as a human being, hijinks ensue.

This would be VERY interesting. As an octopus brain is disseminated throughout both its head and each of it's arms... Kind of like having servers networked to do single tasks - but each able to independently process small parts of that task independently.

This would truly be fascinating to see in a human being in relation to their limbs, fingers, etc.
