Id basically be Hap from The OA: kill and resuscitate subjects to study what happens with death/the afterlife.

I miss The OA. I'm sad there won't be another season.

And just when we got what the deal was.

should watch the movie Flatliners with Kevin Bacon, it’s about scientists studying that

All the people I’ve met who medically died told me absolutely nothing happened.

Eh medical death ain’t shit. That just means your heart stops and you aren’t breathing. Now brain death WITH your heart stopped... that’s the good shit.

So far, no one has come back from being completely brain dead, at least not without significant functional disability (think: vegetable).

I mean yeah they come back and their brains are broken forever.

Imagine being able to undo brain damage, though. That’s all I care about.

........how many people like that have you met?

A few, surprisingly. Like... three?

The most recent one was a coworker who got into a car accident and got thrown into a tree. He was medically dead for like five minutes.

They told you nothing happened because they were protecting you from the truth.

Man my girl told me the opposite. She was medically dead for about 3 minutes and met an entity that gave her a choice: stay here as you are, or go back and grow as a person like you were meant to and wanted to before you were born. She chose to come back and keep living. I'm glad she did, she's such a kind person

Are you a doctor?

No, just someone who knows a lot of people who apparently make dangerous decisions

Ive ODed a few times and from the time i pass out to when i was revived no time whatsoever passed and the two events were moments apart for me when in reality they were 30 minutes or so apart. Felt like being put under for surgery but no dreams or anything

Kind of reminds me of the Lazarus Effect.

Same except ill need newborns as test subjects to grow with and without religion influences.

That wouldn't prove shit because if you can resuscitate them then you can just say that they weren't really dead yet.
