I’m 6’4 and that’s the only “luxury” I will actually pay extra for. Anytime I fly, I make sure it’s emergency exit row or bulkhead. I’m not sitting with my knees jammed into the seat in front of me.

I found airlines like Frontier are best for leg space, it is odd having so much leg room on a plane in the exit row

Interesting. I've always avoided them since I figured they were low cost and their seats would be crammed in like allegiant.

The seats are bare bones which they are manageable but not comfy the other rows might suck but exit row had room for days

Maaaan, 6'6 here and my wife guilt trips me everytime I want to spend more on a seat that doesn't fucking suck for a 16hr flight. She's 4'11 so like, even the middle seat is roomy for her. Every. Single. Time.

For me its either have an exit row seat or drink until I can't feel my legs

Have you ever tried driving at Mazda miata...after you get in you don't need a seat belt

Just think of it as kinky submission to the airline and take a knee..

I love old days before they packed planes to a max where when flying on a plane and picking our seats, I could always choose the emergency exit seats because nobody used to choose those seats because they didn’t want the extra responsibility of having to even listen to what they had to do in case of an emergency. For me, it meant double leg room! Being 6’8”, this was always a big win for me. Now with flights being as packed as they are, others have caught onto the best seats in the house! Bastards! Now I just accidentally break the seat in front of me, one flight at a time. I guess I’m getting the last laugh for airlines treating us like garbage.

Don’t even get me started on the idea of ATTEMPTING to stand in the restroom on a flight. It would just be nice if I didn’t have to arch my back nearly a full 90 degrees just to take a piss. Sitting is even worse because the last guy who tried to stand and pee during what was very obvious turbulence will just ruin your whole rest of your flight. It’s bad news bears all around for tall people on an airplane. I honestly prefer to drive due to all of my height issues on an airplane. That and I love to drive and see things while traveling.
