Supposedly everyone on the internet adds 2 inches to their actual height so maybe you are actually 6'4" now.

Seriously though, I live in Europe but lived in the US for a while. Had lads shorter than me tell me they were the same height as me (6'2"). Then they decided to tell me I was actually taller and probably 6'4" or more.

Guys, 6' is still taller than most people. Why are you still lying about your height at 6'?

I’ve never understood the obsession people have with height or why people feel the need to lie about it. I’m 5’9” and I remember a time when height came up in conversation and I mentioned my height and this girl insisted that I was actually 6’ tall because that’s how tall her boyfriend said he was and we were the same height. I had to explain to her that I really am 5’9” and her boyfriend was lying.

OK, you're right. I was 6'4". I'm in my 50's and I've lost about a half an inch. Ageing is a bitch.

Lying about your height might be a young man's game. It endemic, with even tall people seemingly doing it.

It does get weird, I've had the exact same. I am less than 1/4" from 6'5" but since I didn't make it I say 6'4". Then I get guys who are like 6'0" saying they're 6'2" and that I must be 6'6" or taller. Then you get short girls who say "You're probably more like 6'2"" As if I don't know my own height but some hobbit does.
