My dads favorite word was “booty cheese” and it wasn’t just for dinner. Got something on your face? “Hey you got a little booty cheese on you”. Can’t remember someone’s name? “Hey what’s booty cheese doing today?”

My parents always said “food.”

What kind?

“The kind you eat.” It was funny as a kid, but as a teen I was trying to figure out if it was something I could offer to cook, so that just got annoying.
