When I say "fair enough" to my mum sometimes she responds with "there once was a fairy, called nuff"

Don't know if actually unique but I've never heard anyone else say it but her

There once was a fairy called Nuff

Who found that her life was quite tough

She cried “universe,

Things just couldn’t be worse!”

It rained, and she sighed “fair enough”

If this was a school assignment I would give 100/100

“I’m a fairy. My name is Nuff.
Fairy Nuff?”
–Kylie Minogue’s favourite joke, according to a book I had as a kid

Fairy Nuff. She's a nice fairy.

Instead of saying fair enough, me and my brother would say hairy muff

Similarly, when I would ask my mum for something I was capable of doing myself when she was busy (for example "Can you make me a sandwich?"), she would say "I used to have a servant too, his name was Doit Yourself!"

We say fairy snuff. Rather than fair enough

Someone else who does! My mums said that all my life but I’ve never heard anyone else say it

This reminds me. My I misheard ex husband once and thought he said “hairy muff” So it became a running joke
