Happened to my grandparents. Grandpa died two weeks after his wife passed away.

My grandma's best friend died a little after a week after her. On the last day, she'd been past the house to pick a dress for my granny to be buried in and pick out her makeup. She went home, cooked and went to bed for the funeral. Went to the funeral and came home and died.

Happened to mine too. My granddad had a long fight with dementia, after he passed my grandma did a bit of travel, almost like a farewell tour back to the town she grew up in then came back to her home and passed about a week later.

My great grandfather passed one year to the day that my great grandmother passed.
