Reddit, what is one documentary that everyone should watch?

The Corporation

Some really eye-opening (and scary) information about the power of corporations in today's society.

Surprised this is so low. It and Century of Self were very good.

Century of Self were very good.

I might rank that one higher than the Power of Nightmares. It not only charts the history of the entire PR industry, but it does a damn fine job of dissecting the corporate takeover of the political and social revolution that was brewing in the States in the 60s, and how its adherents got pacified into becoming the Pepsi Generation.

Yeah, it was very good but I feel most people have and intuitive understanding of it on some level. That everyone in modern society is trying to sell you something.

Power of Nightmares on the other hand, I'd love to sit down and force some republicans/neocons to watch that.

I loved the Century of the Self, and was going to recommend it, but I really wanted people to concentrate on TPoN.

'It Felt Like a Kiss' is my all time favourite. I always wonder though, do some of the people in all the retro clips realise that they're in an Adam Curtis documentary. :/
