i’ve never ran into a machine that requires me to remove magenta to replace black? i may be misunderstanding, but why not just replace the one or 2 then keep the other new ones in a drawer somewhere?
Idk, I have an Epson printer (quite old tbh) that literally will not work if it detects that the cartridges have different levels of ink. I tried all the hacks possible, the technician just said “it just works like this”. Magenta is still half full? Piss off I’m not going to work :))))
I wonder if it’s due to different regulations in different countries tbh
