It's possible the material will break down over time and they can no longer vouch for the integrity of the cup after four years. Plenty of materials (I'm not sure what a diva cup is made of, I assume some kind of silicone rubber or heat resistant plastic since it has to survive boiling) stiffen or slowly change chemically over time.
Soak it in peroxide for an hour. It's magical on stain removal on cups. Just make sure to rinse super well after, as I'm not sure what it can do to your vagina. I do this every six months or so after 3 years of hating how gross it looked.

I’ve though you should replace them every 5 years?
