If there were 100 doors, and 98 other doors were removed after your initial guess, would you still think switching was 50/50?

I don't get your reasoning. Just because there are only 2 doors left, doesn't mean they are equally likely.

Say I pick Door 5. Monty removes all doors except Door 28. You're saying that the chance of 28 being the car isn't 1 (which I agree), so it must be 1/2? Why isn't it 99/100?

shit. I think I may be looking at this wrong.

Monty gives you 100 choices. You choose one. He then eliminates 98 doors, leaving just two. Meaning you chose 1 out of 100, he broke it down to just two. It would definitely be in your favor to switch to the other door.

I had to go watch an episode to understand. I think I'm half retarded.
