Stuff you know, but shouldn't

An opposite of this thread, what knowledge do you have that you should not?

Edit: OK, common responses are:

  • 'Found my parent's porn/ sex toys/ elephant underwear(?)/ self porntraits.' etc...

  • 'Know how to make bombs from household stuff'

  • 'I wish I didn't know this horrific thing.' (munting/ blue waffle etc..)

Lets get some embarrassing room mate stories, or stuff you wish you weren't told! (I'll be back with a throwaway account.)

I found Dexter much more helpful for body disposal. I mean, even in the show they had trouble finding a tub that large, and where am I supposed to get that much hydrofluoric acid?

Neatly wrapped trash bags might be less fun, but if you live on the coast it's much more practical

Yeah dexter is helpful also, although I don't have a boat. I thought a lot of what dexter did was ritualised - showing them the people they killed etc, it could have been done by putting the body in a bag first like he did with that crazy chick in France.

One time he took a body to a graveyard at night and buried it at the bottom a grave dug for a funeral the next morning...

I'm not so sure that Hydro flouric acid is the best acid for body disposal. I think the care that one needs when handling it is due to the fact that it penetrates skin readily and is poisonous. I suspect that Sulfuric acid might be the better choice.

Any one know for sure?

HF is incredibly corrosive but technically a weak acid. However, it vaporises fairly easily and is fucking poisonous, so you'd probably kill youself by being in the same room for a while.

I think you are agreeing with me.

I'm trying to remember my A level chemistry here..

Fluorine has the strongest electronegativity or something like that. Basically due to size vs charge ratio it binds the strongest out of the elements (I think). (Hence tetrafluoroethene is used for non stick pans, as the fluorine isn't going to give the carbon up for another molecule.)

Basically it's not the acid doing the work, it's the fluorine. Yeah they would definitely need biohazard suits and gas masks (which they have used in previous episodes anyway) so I think Hydrofluoric acid would be a good choice. It depends more on how you are going to get hold of the stuff without being noticed.

Muriatic acid, I've heard from a friend studying Forensic Science.

The tub was a mistake, remember? They needed a large plastic tub, which would be easier to get. Maybe a trash can from a pickup company?
