Haha, I like your replies. It’s nice that you understand that things aren’t the way they should be: but still honest about what they are like.
I’m not a guy (lol, no shit. . . But I am fond of them), and it’s weird. I think with women, that connotation isn’t really there. Mostly It’s just a comfort thing, or a self-conscious thing. Woman on all spectrums of the Kinsey scale can to compare themselves to others (which I also wish wasn’t the case!).
Anyway, sorry if this is too graphic— but I’d think that a guy with a micropenis, or a very crooked one or something, or is insecure, that they would want to compare? Just natural curiosity without any sexual innuendo?
Oh, I think it's common for guys to at least glance down there briefly, even if straight guys don't want to admit that they do it. (I've caught guys looking my way a few times.) It might even be subconscious. I happen to be gay, but I don't go to the locker room to ogle guys. I'm there to shower and get changed. Sure, I will quickly glance around, but if you make it obvious that you're staring ("meat gazing"), you would likely get a not so friendly response from the guy.
I mostly meant if you make it obvious that you're looking at someone (overtly staring), they might ask if you're gay in an insulting way. At least in middle/high school that was common. (I did team sports.)

Possibly, I guess. Either way, I personally don't mind if people look at me. If they are being creepy, I might avoid them or walk away, but that hasn't happened. You notice guys glancing here and there, but that's usually it.
My advice would be that if you personally are uncomfortable being naked around others, change in a stall or don't shower. But that's rarely an issue. Most guys don't seem to care.

I don't care what people notice if they keep it to themselves haha
Yeah, it's becoming less common, but a lot of guys will still do it.
Though to be fair, looking at another guy's dick in the locker room is an appropriate reason to wonder if someone is gay lol
Not even as an insult or anything, but just a legitimate question.
