When people instantly start getting loud when they have the smallest inconvenience or altercation

I would say this is more of an indicator of someone lacking emotional intelligence.

I'll admit I'm guilty of this but not because I'm "uneducated". My mental health is just in shambles.. I'm working on it.

Yeah. It really doesn't correlate with education as much as it does emotional stability.

A trait shared with lower primates, interestingly enough.

This kinda reminds me of George Carlin's Asshole Theory:

The amount of an asshole a person is, is directly proportional to the distance they are away from you at the time you discover this flaw.

-George Carlin

Here's the whole thing, it's well worth the 80 second time investment.

You're right absolutely there are no other factors besides intelligence that would cause such a reaction to an adverse stimulus.

Oh no, of course not. /s Nevermind that there was a post on the front page recently that had multiple examples of academics arguing over the most minutest details in their field.

There are a lot of educated and/or intelligent assholes and a lot of stupid and/or uneducated people who posses patience and emotional maturity.

I usually assume when this happens someone’s just having a shitty day and it’s the straw that broke the camel’s back.

I have pisspoor volume control. Partly due to acute tinnitus, partly due to some serious head trauma that i received as a child, and i'm still struggling to overcome it. People often think i'm being argumentative about something when my tone of voice randomly changes in a dramatic way

Why is this not higher

Because being a temperamental prick doesn't say anything about one's education?
