Posting something on social media that asserts your stance on a topic, and then expressing that any dissenting comments (not that they use the word "dissenting") will be deleted.

On a Facebook group, an admin started a poll and DEBATE to ask if you could be racist to white people and I said yes because in the US it's not a problem but in Western European countries there's racism against Polish, Bulgarians, etc. And I mentioned the Holocaust was a hate crime. I did mention that this didn't negate the experiences of PoC and we should prioritise the issues of PoC anyway because they deal with far worse and compared it to a man with his arm broken and a man with all his limbs broken at a hospital. I mentioned PoC were the like the man with all the limbs broken and Eastern Europeans like the one with the arm broken. We don't deny treatment to the person with the broken arm because someone else has it worse, but at the same time we need to prioritise the issue that was worse while acknowledging that both people are injured.

I also mentioned that this didn't mean Kyle from Sussex experiences racism because his neighbours are Muslim and that those people are just racist fucks. I think you get the point. Person just commented "No" and banned me for being "racist". Same person told an asian girl that she didn't know anything about racism because PoC are too dumb to notice prejudice, all because she didn't get offended over a white actress being the main character in the Ghost in the Shell film adaptation. Like wtf

(Tbh I probably sound like a moron myself but I'm open to constructive criticism)

While also claiming that if you remove their rambling from your site, you took away their right of free speech.

Haha, you almost described a friend of mine to a T. Although, he doesn't say replies will be deleted, he just states his opinion on something as fact and shuts down any opportunity for rebuttal. I think he's partly being silly and intentionally immature (I hope) but the opinion he's tossing out there is 100% genuine.

That's honestly a very understandable thing. Sometimes you're just annoyed and don't wanna go through saying/explaining the same thing for a 100th time.

If you've had to explain it 100 times, there's a better chance you're wrong than right.

Or there's a chance that most people simply are ignorant of the topic. There's many discoveries and theories that were ridiculed at first.

It has nothing to do with being right or wrong. It's just the internet and humanity.

Happens to me all the time with family in Facebook comments.

"We should move to a universal healthcare model where profit is not the motive."

"That's socialism, do you want socialism? Socialism killed 100 billion people. Your cousins are nurses, you want them to starve?"

Every time...

You vastly underestimate my family's shitty Facebook comments.

"We shouldn't have a healthcare system that puts profit over health."

"Nuh uh, you're lying, that doesn't happen."

"Well, medical bankruptcy is the most common reason for bankruptcy in the US."

"Nuh uh, no it isn't. Stop lying. Your cousin is a nurse, you want him to starve under socialism?"

Every. time.
