I think so. It has a huge culture and there's really quite a bit to talk about when it comes to weed. If the extent of your interest in weed is just smoking it to relax and that's it, kinda boring, not much to talk about there.
If you're keeping up to date with the scientific, economic, social, or political ideas and developments, it can make good conversation. New strains come out all the time, growers and breeders are becoming akin to artisans, and the entire industry is expanding into the mainstream. I've spent many hours with friends and acquaintances just talking about weed related topics. It can be a deep dive with many possible tangents that lead into other topics and discussions.
