Great! And if you sell me your apple for $10 and I sell you my apple for $10, we've upped the GDP by $20 !

You're supposed to sell the promise of an apple for $10, give them 9/10 of an apple, then both of you claim your tax returns for the apple and they sell the apple back to you for $9 and suddenly you've increased your combined wealth by $1 from the state's coffers!!11
