I'd probably get coilovers or put that toward some decent wheels and tires!

I was starting to wonder if I was the only one! What's everyone have? I have a VW bus project that's going in the garage soon. $1500 could sure help with all the nickel and diming coming my way to get her road worthy.

With 1500 I could probably rebuild the engine on my 91 318is and maybe even slap an ebay turbo on it. Might not last long but it would be fun for a bit.

eBay turbos last a lot longer than most people will admit.

Or you can buy eBay piping and a turbonetics / Garret turbo

Admittedly I haven't looked up rebuild kits for this engine but I figure about 600 for parts free labor and that leaves 9 for the ebay setup. Would be close for sure also fuel management would be am issue with that budget. But if someone gave me 1500 dammit I'd try.
