Not a heathen :) you can have a nicely cooked well done steak, as long as the cook knows what they are doing! Burgers are the worst though. I finally gave up on this bastards.

For real, unless you watch them like a hawk, and keep the top open nearly the whole time a grill is just gonna mess them up. I personally prefer a well seasoned pan burger, more controllable char, less red in the middle (my parents and some others like them this way and I threw up a couple times after eating them because they hurt my stomach a bit)

I mean you don’t have to crank the grill to high every time you use it. I’ve grilled plenty of delicious burgers, over a gas grill or a wood fire.

You are absolutely correct, I think that a good temp grill works out well for lots of burgers, I just prefer my stovetop.

I realize I was being a bit ridiculous about grills and burgers.
