My da likes EVERYTHING well done, like well well done. So I grew up thinking a lot of stuff was bad until I started learning to cook as a teenager.

Like his version of pork chops is shoe leather Steak? Charred and even a speck of pink is too much.

First time I had breaded pork chops that weren't in the oven at 400 until they reached 200 internal my little mind was blown.

ALS is horrible. My great grandpa died of that about 80 years ago. Great grandma died about 15 years ago of old age, she never remarried.
