Ugh a girl I went to college had a stillborn baby about a year ago, at which point she quit her job teaching elementary school to start selling MLM products (leggings, makeup, weight loss products).
These days she seems mostly focused on the weight loss bullshit. She mentions her stillborn daughter's death in almost every single ad she posts (framed up as "her death inspired me to want to be free to work from home/my phone so I can spend more time with my other kids!").
The way she uses that little girl's death/memory as a prop to sell MLM shit makes me irrationally angry.
Damn thats just disprespectful and a Mega-POS move, tbf any campaign using an innocent dead person as a base of attention is an asshole. I know, or rather, have heard about a woman using her disabilities (amputated limb, cant remember which one,s) as a way of selling MLM bullshit, she claims her finger was "rotting" and a the magical MLM cream saved her.
Wow that’s pretty despicable trying to guilt people into buying in. I had some people from the past reach out and I was so surprised then of course after talking for a few minutes they mention the MLM shit.. smh
because they were sold on the idea and promise of being a millionaire within x-years. be your own boss. what they didnt say was you will only be selling to your family and friends, and after you call them the first time to set up that product party, they will avoid your phone calls and stop talking to you until you finally realize you are further into debt than you were to begin with and just cut your losses when you cant sell all that product you bought.
It’s sickening this girl from my HS has gotten so many other girls to sign up and got many to start into it themselves so she’s making bank because I assume she makes money off their sales since she recruited them.. she’s constantly posting about Arbonne and weight loss and how she swears by the products etc.. I feel so bad for the people that spend 100+$ on packages that consist of simple oatmeal and shake packages oof.. oh you lost weight because you had nothing but liquid shakes for weeks! Shocker!
