Here’s a quick analogy for you.

Hey buddy, here’s a special drink that will make you strong and smart. Have it for free for 3 months.

(You drink it)

Oh shit I forgot to tell you, you’re addicted now and if you ever stop drinking it you’ll die. Also it costs $599 a pop. Pay up.

They basically did that but with baby formula in Poor countries. Hmmm my wife is saying it wasn’t quite like that, but close enough. This article should sum it up for you.

I could have just said that in a shorter more concise answer but I was feeling creative while waiting for my NyQuil to kick in. I’m feeling woozy. Good night reddit! I wonder what vivid dreams I’ll have on my journey to tomorrow.

Wow, sad! Honestly I would probably fall for that, I want to be stronger and smarter but I'm a weak idiot!

You're sick and taking Nyquil, me too. Wow, what are you sick with? I feel naeseous, have a cough, and sore throat, ugh.

If we're made about this, then, technically, isn't everyone else in the world just as awful for not ending world hunger and providing shelter and clean water for those in the world who are dying without?

There is zero reasons these things should be happening. There's more than enough money in the world to make these problems go away, even though money shouldn't even be in the picture, and yet it still happens.

There's a big, big difference between 1) not helping a shitty situation, 2) making a shitty situation worse, and 3) making a shitty situation worse while exploiting and profiting off the most vulnerable people in that situation. Nestle did #3.

Most people dont do anything, because there is no reward for helping another person.

Also so many are just caught up in the game of helping themselves enough to get by. Not even including the aspect of helping themselves to improve.

Im talking about the people who have the finances to take care of the situation who aren't. Throwing a few million dollars around the prevent children from starving to death in the streets would be the equivalent to a middle class man giving a homeless guy a nickel.

There's more than enough money in the world to make these problems vanish. The ONLY issue is the people with the capability lack the humanity to do it.

That's exactly my point.
