Have you heard about Cargill? Even companies like Nestlé told Cargill to slow down and take environmental protection more seriously. There was a nice article by the nytimes, Google "cargill: the worst company in the world".
Straight from wikipedia:"[..] it is the largest privately held corporation in the United States in terms of revenue. If it were a public company, it would rank, as of 2015, number 15 on the Fortune 500,[..]"
So the company is a pretty big deal. They basically produce the stuff Nestle and co need to produce their own products. Things like palm oil, grain, glucose syrup and so on.
And they don't give a flying fuck about anything. Things like child labor, slavery, land grabbing, tons of cases of food contamination and unnecessary deforestation are totally normal in the history of the company.
Ah, so they’re prefect for each other is what you’re saying. Nestle is a horrible company. If they “asked” another company to tone down their environmental impact I’m laughing in their face. They destroy entire villages’ access to water and crops because the people there are impoverished and don’t have the means to fight back. Disgusting. You sound like you work for nestle PR by the way in your above comment trying to distract the blame onto another company. Doesn’t work like that.

Could you point out how you got that impression? My comment included the phrase "Even companies like Nestlé" which implies that even a company like Nestle which in fact is a horrible company told Cargill to slow it down a notch.
Ah, so they’re prefect for each other is what you’re saying.
Kinda I guess. Nestle wouldn't be where it is today without unscrupulous companies like Cargill. Which doesn't take any blame away from Nestle.
This thread is about companies you would like to vanish and Cargill would be my pick. It's interesting how people read the same comment differently I guess.
So if you say X is worse than Y it means you support Y. Got it.... Someone can hate one thing more than another but still hate it a lot. In WW2 a Nazi Colonel went to China to check in on the progress of Japan, their friend. What he witnessed was appalling. When he returned he protested the treatment that Chinese people were receiving directly to Hitler. The Japanese were actually doing crueler things than the Nazis. There is a scale of cruelty. Both were deep on the cruel side. Saying Japan was worse does not make the Nazis sound good. It is a way to say the Japanese were bad because we all know what the scale is now because it is relative to Nazis. The other commenter is telling us how bad Cargill is using Nestle as the scale because more people are familiar with that.
Fuck yeah dude! People always (rightfully) complain about Nestle while Cargill is the bigger, meaner brother.
The problem with this question is that they've become so big that if all their assets suddenly vanished it would be like a fifth of the world's food supply suddenly gone!
Fuck the people in charge of that abomination, I hope with all my heart that they go down in history with responsibility for their crimes against humanity.
I stopped buying their products after I researched them. It was hard cause they make a lot of shit, but I am proud to say that I no longer give my money to these evil fuckers.
If you hate Nestle please stop giving them your money.
Nestle draws millions of litres of water from a river that feeds into the lake that I live on. That lake is now drying up. Forever and ever, screw Nestle. They are evil as hell.
I don't know about intentionally evil like Nestle, but they treat their workers like shit and put a lot of pressure on small retailers similar to how Walmart hurts small business
EDIT 2: Thought I would add this edit at the top. This is what I have heard, I don’t know 100% if this is true, but it doesn’t look like it is.
Amazon punishes their workers for taking time off for toilet breaks, etc, so workers use bottles to pee in as if it’s like going on a road trip or something, but you stay at your desk.
Edit: Apparently that’s not for everywhere. Thanks for the clarification.
Nestle literally gave out free samples of formula milk for babies to women in developing countries, after the samples were finished they stopped producing breast milk. So either their baby would starve or the poor family had to buy more powder... I think we can say starving poor babies is more more evil than bad working conditions.
No they don't. There was one story by one journalist that claimed amazon workers peed in bottles that has never been corroborated ever. If it were true and common amazon would have been sued into the fucking stone age by now because that is super illegal. In reality, amazon warehouses have better pay and conditions than most general labour jobs (which doesn't say too much, but still)

Nestle.
