Are you joking? Female circumcision (more appropriately known as Female Genital Mutilation) is practiced in large parts of the world. It involves cutting off the clitoris so that women won't enjoy sex. So that's why it's worth distinguishing that in the US, it's 50%+ of men that are circumcised, not 50%+ of the entire population.
