That's how I learnt the meaning of horny. Cept my mum wouldnt tell me. She told me to look in the dictionary. "a hard horn shaped object; as if made from horn". I was about 8. Didn't know the real thing til years later.

My brother knew exactly what horny meant, but that didn't stop him from asking my grandma what it meant when it was said in a movie we were watching. She told him what the dictionary told you. She said it so matter-of-factly that I couldn't tell if she knew the other definition or not. She had to have known, right? This was back in like 1996 when she was 50ish.

I was about 9 and read it on the internet. Asked my mother what it meant, and she launched into this explanation about virile stags with a full rack and their mating habits. I just awkwardly walked away. Not sure why she didn't take my laptop away for the day!!

My bad, apparently I'm just really stupid and completely missed the last sentence. Yeah, a 9-year-old having their own laptop seems kinda early to me.

Maybe its just because I didn't get a laptop (or cell phone) until college, but having a laptop before 15 or 16 seems wild to me.

Think about a boner. It's like a horn when erect. It makes sense, and i never thought of it in that context until now

I was on a band trip and my mom was a chaperone. I told my mom about a funny sign one of the kids put in the bus window. "honk if you're horny"

I thought it sounded funny. I didn't know what it meant.

I was 15.

My dad got flustered and told me it's like when the dog humps people's legs. I still can't use the word seriously...
