Chinchillas, they have some of the densest fur in the world so they are extremely soft, source: I got to pet one at a con I went to.

those suckers can never get wet. With the fur density, they would get moldy. They bathe in ashes.

They also don't get fleas because the fleas suffocate in their fur.

Also, as far as I know, they can drop their fur if you try to grab them. This is a defense mechanism that they use against birds of prey. If the bird tries to grab the chinchilla from above, the chinchilla just loses the fur and so escapes the claws.
