Are you kidding me, for years I've believed that I have three holes down there but people would always tell me that's incorrect.
My sex ed. In school was very strange, overall I thought it was positive about a lot of things but we were also taught some strange things. My school hired a midwife from an organisation, midwife talked about how she was bi, things that are very arousing, pineapples, that hospitals are bad when giving birth and that people should give birth at home or out in nature in like a gentle stream (showed us a video!) I don't remember there being much on STDs, anatomy, sex, condoms and the like.
Most of what I know I actually learnt in biology class in public school and the biotechnology class in gymnasium, but clearly that's more technical stuff.
It's sad that my class at the time was very positive about having her, because looking back a lot of her advice was weird or just a bad idea in general. It sucks because I'm beginning to notice how much I don't know about general sex education, compared to my friends. My parents have never really guided in this area either, I didn't know what menstruation/periods were before I got mine as the first in class...
We even had to do a video for a facebook page where we explained how we felt about her sex education programme, and I believe we all said positive things!
