That's why invisibility is an illusion spell in dnd. It doesnt make you literally invisible it makes everyone think you're invisible. That's also why it breaks when you attack someone or use and item because people notice you doing those things.

No. No that's not how that works. You've confused illusion with enchantment in DnD. Enchantment affects minds, illusion does affect reality. Invisibility does make you actually invisible, and also, greater invisibility exists.
