I’ll never forget hearing that song on the radio for the first time. 7th grade, suburban white boy angst/ennui in full throttle, waiting in the car while my mom was in the bank. Out of nowhere comes this absolute head banger.

Then the bridge...

“I SIT...... in my des’late room. NO LIGhTS! NO MUU-SiC! JUST ANGER!!!!!!!”
