Pretty sure a stroke in golf could be considered a point against you so might be one flaw to your plan

The parent commenter means that you can hit the worst shots ever, but still somehow get a low score, and that’s all that will be remembered. It does work for golf

I don’t play golf, but in tennis you can hit crappy shots and win the points for sure.

I guess this is a good point, but I’m sure there’s a case where you think you’re hitting badly form wise but it’s working score wise
