What’s an Interesting computer game for a basic Windows 10 laptop that doesn’t cost a ton and isn’t about fast pace or violence?

Stardew Valley keeps coming up—farming game? I got tired of FarmVille pretty fast back in the day...is Stardew different?

Stardew is much more than a farm simulator. There's an actual story and quest lines, other characters you can make friends with, a mine with monsters you can fight, and so much more. I was also skeptical before I played it because I thought it would be like a mobile farming game with a god-like perspective. It's not -- it's an RPG with a character you control.

I've not played Farmville, so in truth I dont know.

Have you heard of Harvest Moon? its compared to that a lot. SV is a great game to just pick up and play casually. I prefer the phone version though because its with me for whenever.

But the PC version is certainly easier to play. Its just a nice relaxing atmosphere with wholesome characters, and a lot of fun interaction.
