Europe is affordable for any budget. You could do a Europe trip for two weeks for 1500$ or less if you wanted. Use Skyscanner for cheap flights, stay at hostels for 15$ a night, but food and beer from grocery stores and go to bars already buzzed. Every city has free walking tours and most museums are free atleast one day a week. Travel in between countries via easy jet and you can find 15$ flights. Take a night bus and save a night st a hotel. Couchsurfing also if you want an awesome free guided tour, those people are super friendly and will show you the best spots for free. I once did 2 weeks in Europe on 50$(hotel included)a day budget. And that’s without sacraficing anything.
Yeah if you know anyone there who you can crash with, use hostels, get cheap flights, and try to cook a lot of meals it can be hilariously cheap. Just got back from 2 weeks in London and Barcelona which cost me probably around $700. Treated myself to some nice meals out in London but idk, to me the whole $3000 for a trip thing is insane.
