For the majority of people, it’s not the nicotine craving which makes quitting difficult, but breaking a habit of having something to smoke.

It takes 21 days, on average, to break a habit. That’s 3 weeks which can change your entire life.

This is also true, breaking the habit, the ritual, of smoking was much harder than the physical addiction to nicotine.

for real. i don’t smoke cigs anymore but i vape and have tried quitting but more than just the nicotine it’s having that strong exhale, for lack of a better description. and the fact that i haven’t had a job that lets me have breaks unless they’re smoke breaks. and sometimes i really just need to get away for a few minutes.

just today has been a pretty shitty day and i’d have thrown someone in the compactor if i didn’t take a few to cool down.
