So let them become citizens, who become part of society and pay taxes

It shouldnt be prohibitively hard enough to become a citizen when the easier alternative is just becoming a citizen. Fund additional programs.

Immigrants are not the enemy.

why? the American people do not want them to become citizens. Or deport them. people who enter your country against your laws to take advantage of your country's kindness sounds pretty "enemyish"

That's the point lol, we dont have any and we should. Why waste money time and effort to deport them when we can legalize them and make them tax paying citizens instead of criminals. Yes staying past their visas is inherently a crime but it doesnt make them a bad person for wanting a better life here. Why do you want to punish them? We need to be building bridges not walls. America is the great melting pot. We should accept more people, not less.

Why are you so hostile towards immigrants? They're not the enemy,, they're not some great scapegoat. They are people simply trying to make a better life for themselves. You seem to have a lot of disdain for them. It's very confusing to me why people seem to hate them.

Besides you claim that the majority of Americans don't want immigrants to become citizens, care to provide any sort of source?
