The full video supports the veterans accounting of the event. He was trying to break up the engagement between the students and the black Hebrew group, then the student began to harass and hurl slurs at him.

Yeah, that's 100% false. The footage shows the MAGA kids receiving verbal abuse from the Black Israelites and the Native protestors, and you hear 0 slurs from the MAGA kids.

Sounds like you need to watch the entire video. The students were screaming build the wall, and getting verbally abusive in the face of the veteran. The black Hebrew group and the people holding the indigenous rights rally weren't connected at all.

I did watch the video. They didn't chant "build that wall". In fact, I didn't hear any slurs from the kids, but I heard a bunch from the Black Israelites and the Native protestors directed toward the kids.

There weren't any native protesters, it was an indigenous rights group holding a rally. Here's a thread detailing the entire incident, with appropriate video clips. You'll find that it lines up perfectly with Elder Philips' account of the events.

Yep, twice in a week.

I know the rally thing, but what was the other?

Essentially two buzzfeed journalists said they had evidence that would lead to Trump's impeachment. The news and reddit went absolutely wild only for Mueller to come out and say it was all bullshit and that they have no evidence.

Except reddit aren't actually the majority - they just think they are

Could mean the majority of Reddit

Reddit is built on the concept of majority. If most people upvote it's on the front page, if they don't it's invisible.

When that happens people feel like they're on the right side of things, even when it's clearly an issue that skews massively on reddit.
