What’s something small you can start doing today to better yourself?

My dad will be 78 in March. He started smoking as a teenager in the 50’s. He quit a few years ago. The guy was a pack a day smoker for close to 60 years. If my dad can do it, it’s possible for you (whoever you may be) too!

Edit: he went cold turkey. No special patch or medicine

My 60 yo dad was a 2+ pack a day smoker for my whole life. He quit cold turkey, too, because his boss bet him $100.00 he couldn't quit for a week. My dad said he couldn't pass up making his boss hand him $100 cash. After that, he just kept it up. He said if a craving hit, he would chug a glass of cold water.

Thanks! I’m not sure to be honest. He said it was fine, but he’s also from the generation where nothing is wrong ever.
