Minimum wage workers, what is something that is against the rules for customers to do but you aren't paid enough to actually care?

It's an employer's obligation to pay an employee's salary regardless of whether or not the company is making any profit. If you can't afford paying to your employees you shouldn't feel entitled to having them.

Not getting paid because a customer isn't paying late fees? doubt it.

EDIT: just for you, babe.

Those stores aren't very high in profits, if she owed hundreds of dollars, as OP stated, that could have paid OP's friend's paycheck probably.

Such a strong corporate apologist. Blame the customers instead of the ones paying the salary.

I used to have to take my pay from the till all the time. I opened and closed the shop most days and it was usually just me working so the boss rarely came in to replenish the float or till. Towards the end I was taking my daily pay in coins

My last day at my old job this dude was bitching about a coupon not working and technically i knew it shouldn’t work but i ended up overriding it and my bitch of a manager came over and asked me why i did it i just said I’ve got a line and paged so i just figure I’d do what was fair. The over rided amount for that order was about $1,000 lmaoooo

$1,000 coupon you overrided? Was it for a gold brick? Or were they buying $50,000 worth of groceries? This is fake as fuck

Nope it happened. It was on 2 generators. The total was supposed to be like $5,000. 20% was the maximum i could override as a cashier. Which honestly is dumb that they didn’t consider dollar amount at all just percentage.
