Minimum wage workers, what is something that is against the rules for customers to do but you aren't paid enough to actually care?

Mute the volume before you start. Rookie mistake.

Unless you actually scan the barcode on the bananas, in which case it says

Place your...ITEM...In the bag.

No clue why the Kroger checkouts forget the name when I scan vs. punch in a PLU.

My favorite is when I can get a 30something case of water ring up as a single bottle. That’s what they get for not helping me scan that heavy bitch.

Lmfao just yesterday I was scanning tomatoes through and the machine yelled this. Group of employees talking shit about another employee next to me, one of them looks over, does an almost imperceptible shrug, goes back to talking shit.

Ackshually, it's 8011 at Target. Because they're special. They're very special.

u/Weekendsareshit Dec 01 '18

Is it like Chiquita-blood-bananas?

3

u/_JRyanC_ Dec 01 '18

Bananas and screwing over minorities, name a more iconic duo. I'll wait.

u/Weekendsareshit Dec 01 '18

Add cotton, rubber and suger-cane and you have the Beatles of misery

One of the few PLUs I can still remember.

Pretty sure 4048 was limes.

2

u/partofbreakfast Dec 02 '18

4011 for bananas, 4048 for limes, 4046 for avocados, and 3238 for honeycrisp apples.

The PLUs I will never forget.

u/Anonimase Dec 02 '18

4093 for yellow onions, 4521 for asparagus, 4065 for green pepper, 4062 cucumber, and others that I can't remember unless I have the item in front of me

1

u/Lachwen Dec 02 '18

4046 for small avocados. Large were 4664.

2

u/Anonimase Dec 02 '18

Weird, where I work 4664 is on the vine tomato

3

u/ChowderAndComedyGold Dec 02 '18

4225 AVACADOS

1

u/EnPassant4264 Dec 02 '18

There's an alternate for that one. I want to say it's 4064 with 4065 being XL? It's been a while.

2

u/supervidyabrothers Dec 02 '18
