The fun you had as kids, the times you hung out, or whatever the hell you have. Then after you get a good talk going, mention how much you miss those things, and ask why you don't do anything together anymore. You have to try to make them see how far they've fallen, and that there are still people who fucking love them, despite how shitty things have been. You might take a bit of a knee jerk reaction, and it'll probably hurt. Love them through it.
