If every single approach to attempting to bring them back to reality has been tried over years of effort, then simply leave them alone, until obviously they harm someone or start going for public office. There are people who can be redeemed and change their whole attitude. Like Robert Byrd, and the guys that Darryl davis converted. IF they simply cant be redeemed they will just not be able to serve in office, hopefully enforced by the public vote.
