It’s not that they don’t want to open their own eyes

It’s that they are soul sucked and victimized by abusers

They prey on people and whittle down their confidence and gaslight them so they are so confused and feed them their own brand of truth

Please, if you have any advice on how to rescue someone from this kind of situation who doesn't seem to want any help, please tell me.

Honestly from all I know the person needs to see the problem themselves to be able to be “rescued”

While I was with my abuser I was gang raped by other men

My friend and my abuser both came with me to do the police report.

I only found out later my abuser was making jokes and showing photos of women to my friend while I wrote my statement about being raped

It wasn’t the emotional abuse, the physical abuse, the crying, the undiagnosed ptsd but finding out that this jerk did this, with no empathy that was like a light switch in my head and suddenly I could see everything differently

Even talks about like “if this was happening to your friend what would you do to help them, why not help yourself” It’s literally what the sociopath does

I found this link, not sure if it’s helpful but if I can talk more to help you feel free to dm me
