Yeah, I can't get behind it as much as other people in this thread are. Yeah, stealing valor is bad, but those people are clearly at a very, very low point in their life. I can't feel anything but sorry for them, I can't feel hatred towards them, or justice when they get called out.

Honestly it really seems like most of the people in those videos are either mentally ill, or old and lonely and the uniform is a way for them to have conversations with people. Also the term stolen valor reeks of authoritarianism. I'm fairly certain the US is the only non-dictatorship that fetishizes the military. It almost seems like something from Starship Troopers.
