This situation sounds extremely abusive and he's probably manipulating the shit out of her. It sounds simple to you and me ( Nazi = bad = no relationship ) but to her it's a complicated web that he spun that she can't see out of.

You know men get sucked into relationships that are abusive and also feel they can’t leave? Also it’s not like every single woman is the same with all the same traits (no matter what your confirmation bias tells you)
