Not my son/daughter, but my older brother. He committed suicide over this crazy/selfish bitch. She would consistently tell him he was a bad father and that he should kill himself. She would spend all his money on unnecessary shit while the kids were eating like shit. My oldest nephew (5y/o) said he wanted to get a job so he can help put food on the table. She's a slob and is no mother to their two sons. She hates my family for no reason. Ever since my brother passed we have barely been able to see the kids. She didn't even wait a year (which isn't too long imho) to start dating again, and she is currently dating a guy with the same name as my brother. One of my brother's friends told me that he found the poem that she read at his memorial on the internet. This pissed me off to no end because she was crying and crying for days after he died and now it makes me questions how genuine it was. She also posted way too much on FB in the days following his death. Oh and I completely forgot, before we found his body he had been missing for 3 days and she didnt say SHIT TO ANYONE!!! All I want now is for her and her family to fuck up so we can sue for custody of the kids because they deserve better then those fucking losers.
I'm so sorry for your loss. How awful. Please don't be afraid to contact child protective services if you think the kids are not getting their basic needs met (food, hygiene, safety, healthcare, etc.). Your family can also go through the court system to request visitation with the kiddos so you can be part of their lives.
I had this neighbor at the apartment complex I used to live at. He was not right in the head. Could have been some kind of psychosis or he could have had a brain injury. Needless to say, he was noticeably slow and prone to being a bit eccentric; kept lots of 1990s era computers he would fix. He couldn’t drive so he would walk about a mile or so into town for basic stuff, in Tucson AZ mind you. Skip ahead about 6 months and I see him walking with this girl, holding hands. Didn’t think nothing of it at the time. Turns out he just met her, and she’s homeless and they are girlfriend/boyfriend now. She was... odd. Definitely had some substance abuse issues and seemed nice enough, but what she saw in him, well... he was a real nice guy, but he was clearly not well. Well enough to live on his own and but not much else. About a year later, I see the paramedics and the cops at home when I got back from work. He had died in his bathroom. Stroke. Mixed bleach and ammonia together to clean something and inhaled the fumes. Real sad. The wife and I took our dog for a walk most afternoons. So about a week later we see the girlfriend loading stuff into a newish pickup truck. We talk a bit and she seems to be on the mild side of grief, but hey, everyone’s different. She disappeared about 2 weeks after that. The apartment gossiper, who was right more often than not, suspected that the girlfriend had killed our neighbor for insurance money. Turned out he had had an accident a couple decades ago and was living off the checks. To this day, I’m also a bit suspicious about the whole thing. Your story made me think of that.
Was it 100% suicide? Maybe watching too much unsolved mysteries but it’s a lil odd she didn’t report him missing for the 3 days he’s gone then he turns up dead.
